How many of you use a bander with a melter as apposed to a MA-10 unit? We use Supershot machines but have a valve to fill banders. Much better quality in my opinion.

I first laughed when I saw a friendly competitor of ours take all his heated hoses off and use just banders...then I saw them crack seal a Costco in just hours. We now have 10 banders, and it would blow you away the production we can get in parking lots.

We use them too, but the key is making sure your guys leave them empty... Such a pain when the guys leave a 1/4 full bander to cool.

We use both banders and what i call pumpers (filling with the wands) we usually do the long cold seam cracks while the banders will hit the other ones they missed or in corners. We set the pumper up that the banders can fill right from it without the guy on the wand having to stop. Just plumbed it up from the wand main plumbing with a shut off and an extension.
